~A Mothers Love is as Timeless as Her Grief.~

Board Members

Kelli Espiritu - Founder/Executive Director

Kelli is a wife and mother to four boys. Her son Max was stillborn at 38 weeks on September 27, 2010. After she lost Max her and her husband were faced with so many scary decisions, they didn't know how to answer all of the questions coming at them. They were in a difficult spot financially and as a result had the added stress of trying to find a way to pay for Max's final expenses. Six months after saying goodbye to their son, Kelli knew she had to create something to help other families through the worst part of their lives, so she founded Halos with her husband Barry.

Barry Espiritu - Co Founder

Barry is a husband and father of four boys. His son Max was stillborn at 38 weeks on September 27, 2010. Barry has helped and supported Kelli through every aspect of Halos since it was founded in 2011. He jumps into any project he is needed for including running the Carnival Games at our 12th Annual Memorial Walk this year.

Chris Roberts -  Secretary

Chris has been with halos since its inception in 2011, in memory of her grandson Max. She keeps track of everything going on at Halos.

Darrell Roberts - Board Chair

Darrell has been with halos since its inception in 2011, in memory of his grandson Max. He plays a major role in the public relations and fundraising aspects as much as possible. He enjoys being hands on in the foundation and serves as the Carnival Lead at the Memorial Walk each year.

Jamie wears many hats at Halos as she creates and continutes family programs, organizes fundraising efforts, and writes grants. In the almost three years that she has been with Halos she has brought in over $100,000 in additional donations. Jamie used to be an elementary teacher, but now works remotely for us from almost four and a half hours away while staying home with her twin three year olds and five year old daughters.
